Temperature Sensors - Type ETF

Features
Temperature range from -50 to +500°C
4 types of resistance sensors: NTC, PTC, PT-100, PT-1000
Many different mechanical types for installation in the floor, on walls, in machinery, pipes, tanks or outside.

Application
ETF sensors are applied as signal emitters for electronic thermostats, regulators and thermometers. The sensors, which are available in many different mechanical types, may be used in all places where temperatures are to be measured or monitored, e.g. inside buildings and installations or in machinery.

Functions
ETF sensors contain a sensing element enclosed in housings of plastic or metal.
The sensors have been designed to archive the shortest possible response times.
Resistance sensors convert temperature into ohmic resistance.

A. NTC thermistor (Negative temperature coefficient)
 - Rising temperature reduces ohmic resistance
B. PTC thermistor, PT-100, PT-1000 (Positive temperature coefficient)
 - Rising temperature increases ohmic resistance
