Power & Step Controllers

When applying electrical heating to air in a ventilation system or to the soccer field of a Champions League stadium, it is important, that the requested temperature is maintained as accurately as possible with as small variations in the temperature as possible.

With the complete product range of power and step controllers from OJ Electronics, this requirement can be met, as easily, as a valve is installed to control a hydronic heating system. Best of all, this can be done maintaining the system durability, which today is a natural requirement in hydronic systems.

POWER CONTROLLERS

The EFS Power Controller is a three phase thyristor controller. The durability and application range of this controller is unmatched in the market.

Both symmetrical and unsymmetrical loads can be installed using the EFS power controller.

With the built-in power doubling relay upto 126A loads can be controlled from a single EFS power controller.

For single phase installations OJ Electronics offer the EFM power controller for panel mounting and the EFK power controller for wall mounting.

These two models of triac power controllers are designed specifically with the requirements of residential and commercial installations in mind.

STEP CONTROLLERS

In larger installations, where a number of heating cables or electrical batteries are installed to maintain the same temperature, it is more cost efficient to install a single power controller in combination with a step controller. OJ Electronics offer two types of step controllers.

The ETT-1, which is a power doubling relay, primarily intended for use with the EFM power controller.

And the ETT-6, which provides up to 4 steps on the heating with a 0-10VDC output to a power controller, which fills in the gaps.
