DIN-Rail Mounted Temperature Controller - EFRP-31

EFRP is used as an external regulator for power controllers EFR and EFM to modulate the regulation of room temperature in air duct systems with electric heater batteries, or radiant panel heating.

Function
EFRP has a temperature range of 0/+40°C. It submits a 0-10V DC control signal in proportion to the temperature deviation.
The proportional band is adjustable. The control signal is 10V when the sensor indicates a temperature which corresponds to the preset temperature -0.5 5 P-band.
When the sensor temperature corresponds to the preset temperature +0.5 5 P-band, the control signal is 0V.

The control signal can be changed to 10-0V by connecting to terminal 6 and 7.
 
Application
In systems with water-based heating/cooling surfaces EFRP is used for regulating a desired room temperature via the valve actuator. EFRP can also be used in combination with step controller ETT-6 for regulating step controlled electrical heating surfaces, air condensers, compressors or gas boilers.

Proportional band
Setting on the EFRP-31 is made on the potentiometer on the front panel.
Temperature setback
Setting on the EFRP-31 is made with potentiometer on the front panel. The setback function must be energised via a potential-free contact from a separate time switch.
Mounting
EFRP-31 is mounted on DIN rail in a control panel. An external sensor must be connected to the unit.
Power supply
EFRP is power-supplied from a power controller type EFR or EFM or from a separate 24V AC power supply.
